Toyota City, Japan, Mar 28, 2016 - (JCN Newswire) - Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results for February 2016, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Hino Motors, Ltd.

- Lexus vehicle sales totaled 4,185 units (16.4 percent increase)
- Minivehicle sales totaled 2,419 units (1.9 percent increase)
- 42.2 percent share of market excluding minivehicles (3.2 percentage point decrease)
- 26.3 percent share of market including minivehicles (1.4 percentage point decrease)

Daihatsu

- Decreased
- Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 58,700 units (6.9 percent decrease)
- 33.3 percent share of minivehicle market (0.8 percentage point increase)

Hino

- First increase in three months
- Standard truck sales totaled approximately 2,700 units (5.4 percent increase); second consecutive month of increase
